| FM 200® extinguishing agent is a colourless gas, virtually odourless, electrically non-conductive and has a density 6 times that of air. It extinguishes fires mainly through physical means (by absorbing heat). It is suitable for the protection of most risks where previously Halon 1301 would have had to be applied.
FM 200® extinguishes the fire quickly and cleanly. Fire extinguishing systems that use FM 200® agent are therefore designed to ensure that the discharge time required to reach 95% of the design minimum concentration is less than 10 seconds. This requirement is guaranteed through the use of computer programs for flow calculations which are validated by independent certifying agencies. |

| Dupont FM200 agent is electrically non-conductive and referenced in AS ISO 14520.
Systems are suitable for Class A, Class A Higher and Class B fires. The suppression agent is pressurised with dry nitrogen at 610 PSI and is stored in steel cylinders equipped with certified valves. Our comparatively higher pressure FM200 system provides greater flexibility in the choice of cylinder location and permits the use of smaller pipe sizes thanks to the increased discharge speed. LPG 610 PSI FM200 systems are UL and ActivFire listed. |
